![]() Once in the kettle, the Wort is brought to a boil.
![]() Hops are added at different stages of the boil to produce flavor, bitterness and aroma.The boil time may vary for each recipe. ![]() The Wort is then pumped into the hot liquor tank/whirlpool, creating a swirling effect to extract the solid particles.
Wort is then cooled by means of a heat exchanger and pumped into a fermentation tank where special brewer's yeast is added. The yeast consumes the sugars creating alcohol and carbon dioxide, transforming the wort into naturally carbonated beer.
